The Three-Stage Wind-Down

The Wilder Sleep Ritual unfolds across the final 90 minutes of your day, in three deliberate stages. This is the three-product sequence in our Sleep Ritual Bundle.

Your questions, answered

Can I use the Sleep Ritual alongside sleeping medication?

Always consult your prescribing doctor before introducing herbal products with sleep medication. Some herbs (Passionflower, Hops) may interact with sedative medications.

Is the Sleep Ritual safe in pregnancy?

Some ingredients are not suitable in pregnancy. Serenity Tea and Healing Spirit Soak are generally well tolerated, but please consult your midwife.

How often should I use the bath soak?

Three to four times per week is ideal. Daily use is fine but not necessary. The cumulative effect builds the wind-down rhythm.

Can children use Restful Sleep flower essence?

Yes. Flower essences are gentle and safe for all ages. The standard dose for children is two drops, four times daily.

What if I don't have a bath?

A foot bath works almost as well. Two tablespoons of Healing Spirit Soak in a basin of warm water, 15 to 20 minutes.

When Sleep Stops Coming Easily

Sleep difficulty rarely arrives as a single symptom. In Rachel's clinical practice, patients arriving with sleep complaints typically describe one of three patterns. Sleep onset: lying awake for an hour or more after lights-out, mind racing while the body feels tired. Sleep maintenance: falling asleep easily but waking between 2 and 4am, unable to return. Sleep quality: sleeping the hours but waking unrested. If any of these are familiar, the Sleep Ritual is built for you.

The Naturopathic View on Sleep

Conventional approaches to sleep often focus on the moment of bed: the pillow, the mattress, the bedroom temperature. These matter, but they are not the lever. The naturopathic view treats sleep as the consequence of everything that came before it: cortisol patterns set at sunrise, magnesium availability, evening light exposure, last-meal timing, the state of the nervous system at lights-out. We do not put you to sleep with a sedative. We help your body remember how to do it on its own.

What to Expect in the First 21 Days

The Sleep Ritual is not a sleeping tablet, and will not work like one on night one. What it does, over three weeks, is reintroduce your body to a sequence it has forgotten. In the first week, the bath often becomes the first place tension releases; sleep onset begins to shorten. In the second week, sleep maintenance often improves, with fewer 3am wake-ups. From week three onwards, the quality of sleep itself shifts: mornings feel less effortful, daytime energy stabilises, the ritual becomes habitual.

Beyond the Products: Three Foundational Habits

Three lifestyle anchors quietly determine more about your sleep than any product. First, light hygiene: bright morning light within an hour of waking, dim warm light for the two hours before bed, no phones or laptops in bed. Second, temperature: a cool bedroom between 17 and 19°C. The body cannot transition into deep sleep without a measurable temperature drop, which is why a warm bath 90 minutes before bed works so well. Third, last-meal timing: no food within three hours of bed where possible.
